Simple paint and trim

A few more little things done on the wagon this weekend.

First was removing the wheels and painting the centers of the drums silver - it was a quick and dirty fix to the problem of having no room to fit the cones.

Then I scrounged up enough of the old trim fastenings to fit the trim...to one side of the wagon! I'll have to order some more, but at least Tara will see the trim  when she gets in the car.

Getting the indicators to ground to the bumper is still an issue, can't get one of them to work still. I suspect I'll have to buy a new housing.

Grounding indicators...

Hiya! Saw your posting on HAMB, and followed it to your site...gotcha' bookmarked now. I run a '64 Pontiac Bonneville Sportcoupe, and just saw an article mentioning the grounding problem in the latest edition of the POCI newsletter. I will look up the article for you, if you're not a member, or don't have a copy. The author was saying that too many people will go out and buy the expensive housings, when it is an easy fix... (Nope, I don't remember what he wrote...I was drinking a beer at the time.) Let me know if you would like me to look up the fix he was talking about. -All the Best! -Tony ("Fat Tony" on MySpace, "Gearjam1" on HAMB)
